Aside from all the blogging, our kids, time together, cleaning the house, work, finishing her Master’s, being a mom, etc. etc. etc., Roxy has a life. As such, she has not had a second to herself to write a post, so in her absence, I have been doing most of the writing.
The affairs are over. Our marriage is better than ever, including the best sex. We are more open with each other than we have ever been. We can talk about anything. We truely have the best relationship. This allowed us to be able to talk about entering the ‘lifestyle”. Swinging has now opened the path to sexual explorations. It has been amazing for us.
Married 10 years (minus one month…close enough!), together for 14 years. Two amazing kids, two great careers, a beautiful house, lots of friends, a wonderful family, and a true partnership. What else could you want?…a lot more. This is the life of my husband and I. We had the foundation (which is why we are still together today) but over the years grew apart emotionally and sexually. During that time we both had affairs. But now we are stronger, better and enjoying each other completely. In EVERY way…….

Can swinger relationships, or open relationships REALLY work or are they just a recipe for disaster? From our experience there are a lot of benefits to at least being open with your partner about your fantasies and desires. Without open communication, secrets and eventually resentment builds.
