In my last blog I left everyone hanging as to whether or not C and I would be playing with the couple that we went out with to hear a band.  I was not so “into” them, other than just as friends.  Well, we met at the Gladstone and heard a very eclectic creole band (wash board and all).  We had several drinks and some good conversation…..next thing we knew we were back at their house.  Two more bottles of wine and lots of talking while the time flew bye and next thing we knew it was almost 2 am.  It was way past my bedtime and way past the time for any playing.  What transpired was a very long good bye kiss for each of us and a plan to meet again in 2012.

We spent most of the holidays with family and vanilla friends, including a short ski trip to Mont Tremblant.  It was a great, relaxing time.

With that being said we were invited to go to club X with some friends on Friday December 30th.  Initially we had no intentions of going but then C’s sister offered to babysit after a family dinner we were hosting that night.  Well, we definitely can not turn down an offer for a babysitter.  After the kids went to bed we went to our friends house for pre-party drinks.  After a few glasses of wine and chatting with some friends we were off to the club.  For a last minute decision, it turned out to be a fun one.  I did not drink too much (which I have been known to do on occasion…..), danced and kissed a lot and made it not too late a night (for a club night……home by 1:15 AM).  It was great to have a sexy time and not feel too tired or hung over the next morning.

It is hard to believe that it is now 2012!  C and I look forward to seeing what adventures and new experiences we will find in the new year.  We will be sure to share them all with you.
