Our posts on swinging helping others

Last night Roxy and I were sitting on the sofa, watching some television after the kids went to bed and my iPhone buzzed signaling a new email.I opened it up with a swipe of my finger and noticed an email in our shared Roxy and C email account. It was from “R” and the words in the note were as follows;

I have to say thanks for writing such wonderful, exciting and inspirational posts.My wife and I are looking into the lifestyle and it was somewhat funny to read about all of the similarities between our lives (14 years, 10 married, kids, affair, age, etc.), that I swear we could be writing the posts ourselves.

It’s been something we’ve discussed for many years, but reading your stories has put a new spark into our conversation. Anyway keep up the great work and good luck on your marriage and the path you have chosen.

Note: the author of the email gave us permission to repost their words

It is really great to get emails like this.  It makes writing the blog more than just a personal adventure as it shows us that there are many people out there in the same boat as us.  Roxy and I have gone through a lot in 14 years together, entering the swinging lifestyle simply being one of those adventures. Knowing that others can share in our experiences and then make up their own minds with our experiences as an input in their journey is great.  Swinging is not for everyone, but our experiences so far have been generally good.  We have met some nice people who we played with. We have met some nice people with whom we simply did not click in a sexual way. We also have met some people we really didn’t care for, but those are all part of our process.

So if you are reading this feel free to drop us a note, comment on a post, tweet a link to our site..just get involved.  It makes the whole process so much more meaningful for us all.

Thanks for reading….
