I know that the last few posts from C and I have been about 3-somes, but they seem to keep coming up.  Yesterday I was shopping at a favorite store of mine in Yorkville, a trendy neighbourhood in Toronto.  I was looking for a new hot and sexy outfit for Friday night.  I had chosen several dresses and a few shirts to try on.  I took my pile of clothes to the change room and started to get naked.  I slid on the first dress and came out to see what it looked like in the large 3-way mirror.  The sales girl came over to me, touched my shoulder and said “that looks good”, try on the other dress.  That flattery continued for each of the 3 dresses I tried on and then I came out in this beautiful short purple skirt.  For this outfit, I got the “OMG that looks amazing on you,  it fits you so great, look at your body in that”!  Then she proceeded to say that she would love to go out with me.

Well, I bought the purple skirt (and another top – $250 later) and left.   When I told C about my impromptu shopping excursion the first question he had for me was not how much did you spend, rather it was “did you get her number?”.  Now she was pretty hot, defiantly my type.  I did not ask her for her number. My excuse – I was late for a meeting (which I really was) and had to rush out of there.

It would have been easy for me to ask for her number to see if she would have given it to me.  What I realized it that it is easier for the woman in a couple to approach a woman. When we are together, it can happen anywhere, a club, on line, etc.

So the moral of this story is that shopping for clothes can be a great way to meet women…
